Wow!  Your keyboards must have been on fire!  The submissions for Pudgy’s caption contest were plentiful, amusing and downright difficult to decide upon!

Thank you for voting on your favorite captions as well!  Each month has a “popular vote” winner decided upon by your click of the mouse.  This winner will receive a free 2006 Pudgy calendar as well as a new 2007 calendar, hot off the presses!  Congratulations to you all and thanks for your ideas!

Now comes the difficult part…Deciding which captions will grace the 2007 calendar.  Here’s how we decided on these winners: We sat down at the kitchen island with each month’s photo, a list of the caption submissions (without the writer’s name), and the tally’s from your popular vote.  We read each and every submission and noted which ones made us laugh, smile, groan, and most importantly, which submission we felt most captured the “essence of Pudgy”.  In many cases, your vote was our vote too!  In all cases, we’re thrilled with your creativity and enthusiasm!  Like the “popular vote” winner, the caption winners will also receive the 2006 and new 2007 calendar, as well as recognition for their creative efforts in the calendar.

Again, thank you so very much for your involvement in making Pudgy’s second calendar so special… and a calendar like no other!!!
