I can't remember a time when I didn't love pigs. We've always had animals but I was 16 years old before I got my first pig, Gip. What I didn't know about pigs you could put in a book! He is now three and totally deaf. Last fall, due to a divorce situation, we got six more pigs. Three of them were pregnant. I love playing with the piglets but they are certainly a lot of work. Noelle is my favorite pig. She was born on Christmas Eve and her mother and siblings all died. She instantly became a spoiled house pig.  When she was 8 weeks old she got sodium poisoning and had seizures and went into a coma. Only by the grace of God did she survive but she still has lots of problems. She is still blind and has difficulty with balance but this has made her extra special and she goes everywhere with me. I know I will always have pigs in my life....when it comes to men my motto is "love me...love my pigs".

Rachel won our vote, for January, April, and October. She also won the popular vote for the month of January. All of her three submissions made it to the 2007 Pudgy Poo calendar. Great job Raychel!
